I've talked aboutmy issues with acne before on the blog and over the years I've tried many products in an attempt to control the problem. As a teen,even though that's when my acne was at its worst, I didn't see the point in investing much time or effort in solving the problem since I'd seen my older sister spend thousands on expensive medications with no results.

I've been working out for years and while I've improved my overall fitness, strength and muscle tone, there is one goal that has proved elusive. I was a latecomer to watching Suits since I didn't know it existed until about three seasons in but it only took one episode to get me hooked since I've always been a sucker for legal shows. It started with imports of L.A Law back in the nineties and evolved into Law & Order, Ally McBeal, The First 48 and now Suits (Wednesdays on USA Network).

Layers are the key to staying warm when it's cold out. When I first visited Minneapolis fresh off the boat from Africa, I had to learn this the hard way when I got lost on foot while wearing just a shirt and windbreaker when it was about 20 degrees. I'd never been so cold in my life and it didn't help that I was lost in a strange city with no idea how to find my way back home.

While Nudie Jeans technically doesn't make clothing for women, I'd argue that the apparel industry has become increasingly androgynous. Just last week, Jaden Smith (son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith) wasfeatured in anew ad for Louis Vuitton modelling a skirt. 

I've already documentedmy crush with the brand Dolce & Gabbana on the blog before and they've given me yet another reason to love them even more. Last week, they launched their firstabaya collection onStyle Arabia. While some might consider this move controversial due to the current anti-Muslim sentiment in many parts of the world, it is a savvy business move for the brand.

Another day, another cape. What I love about this one is that I can keep my arms warmly ensconced in within the depths of the cape with my hands slipped in the hidden internal pockets. If there's one story that stands out for me from the bible, it's the story of Joseph and how he was able to overcome all the challenges in his life with grace.
