I've always believed in seeing the best in people. All the possibilities, as opposed to all the obstacles.
I started Dalasini because I wanted modern jewelry that I could connect with. Jewelry has always had symbolism in African heritage, telling a story about who you are and who you aspire to be.
I wanted to share this heritage, as it's a story we can all connect to. The pieces are inspired by my experiences growing up in Africa as well as cultural symbols and icons rooted in African heritage.

Our jewelry is handcrafted in Los Angeles by skilled artisans earning a living wage, produced in small quantities to reduce waste and minimize climate impact.

Giving Back
Ten percent of proceeds benefit the source of our inspiration, Africa. We believe that it's important to preserve Africa's rich heritage, from its diverse wildlife to its myriad cultures.

Working in partnership with local communities, the African Wildlife Foundation works to balance the needs of people and wildlife through advocacy and equipping wildlife rangers and law enforcement with the tools to stop poaching. But that's not all they do [learn more].
