Sustainable Style: Loomstate

What began in 2004 as a pioneering design house specializing in 100% certified organic cotton apparel is now shifting to a new challenge, creating a garment that truly benefits the entire supply chain. To do this, Loomstate partners with farmers, thread makers, fabric knitters, printers, cutters and sewers to create collaborative partnerships across the breadth of the supply chain for true sustainability from farm to shelf.

But what Loomstate stand out for me is their partnership with with businesses such as Chipotle, Ford, Shake Shack, Soulcycle, Mets and more to create branded apparel for public (uniforms) and private use (corporate and promotional apparel ). This allows them to have twice the impact to the supply chain since they serve both the consumer and business markets.
