My Style: Monochrome

I love how black and white can be so simple yet complex. Its a timeless look that works across multiple mediums be it photography, fashion or interior design. Case in point is this photograph. At first blush it appears to be an animal skull with antlers hung over an open doorway or it could be a black cloak draped from the skull. The use of negative space in the photograph draws you in as you try to figure out what you are looking at. It just goes to show sometimes less is more...
