My Style: Neoprene

I am a tomboy at heart but always had a hard time finding sneakers that worked for me because I have skinny calves. After years of endless squats I've managed to make them a little bigger than I started with, but even I have to admit that being teased for having 'chicken legs' when I was growing up was based on fact. 

I don't know why they make sneakers so bulky but that's just they way it has been for the last couple of decades until recently. Enter the Nike Internationalist. A throwback from the early 80's, vintage kicks are making a comeback much to my delight. Finally, I can wear my beloved sneakers without looking like I'm wearing clown shoes.

I paired this with a printed neoprene dress, some arm and neck candy (the latter courtesy of Dalasini of course) and this veiled beanie that I'm currently obsessed with. For the evening, I switched to heels and jacket since the weather is getting cooler. Oh how I'll miss the summer...
