Royal Style: Queen Rania

Much has been made of the style choices of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, but in my opinion Queen Rania of Jordan has a far superior sense of style. Take the blouse and skirt outfit that Queen Rania is wearing above (pictured with Queen Letizia of Spain who is equally stylish). It looks fairly simple but a closer look reveals the pleating around the neckline and keyhole in the bottom half of the sleeve of the blouse. The peekaboo pleating on the skirt reveals the ivory color blocking when she moves and coordinates with the blouse. Meanwhile, the scalloped edge maroon belt not only adds a pop of color and interest to the monochrome outfit but also matches the bottoms of her black Louboutin pumps. Last but no least, her top handle satchel is the perfect complement to the ensemble, demure yet fun and sophisticated. Check out a few more pics of Queen Rania showing us how it's done below.
